Sunday night I arrived back in the trailer court at around 11 o'clock. I had spent the day fixing a lot of things for a lot of people, including our new Tivo. I brought it down to hook it up here, and found that our wireless card we had for it was too new for the software version on the Tivo, so it wouldnt work. I was wide awake having drank 4 coffees to make the trip, so I ventured to Wally World to pick up a different adaptor. As I was strolling accross the store to the electronics department, I encountered a Walmart employee. I was not in any department, but an aisle, and the guy just stopped and the only way he would have been nicer would have been to offer to pay for my purchases. He stopped me, "How are you doing this evening?" "I'm doing fine." "Well that's great, have a good one!"
Never in my years have I experienced this at any retail establishment. No I am not changing my opinion of Walmart, its hiring practices, lack of healthcare, and generally unfriendly greeters. I just wonder how this guy slipped through the cracks. He needs to be working for a motivational camp or something.
And what is even more exciting, is my eBay account has been reinstated! Yes folks, the 62 days of sweet wonderment as to when I will be allowed back on are over. I am sure my bank account is about to take a hit, but I had managed to save a little having no eBay. PTL.
I have joined the book reading club. I dont know if I will make it to 50, but I will surely try. I am already halfway through my first. And will be starting a few more this week. I'll post a list on the navigation bar of the books I have finished and if I reccommend them.
Lastly, please pray for our dear friend Cheryl. She is sick, along with the rest of Fairfield it seems like.
